India: GM Breweries announces 22% decline in operating profit
GM Breweries limited has announced a 22 percent decline in net profit at Rs2.36 crore for the quarter to Dec 2006, India Business Insight reported April 26.
Its sales grew by 8 percent to Rs44.64 crore, operating profit decreased by 22 percent to Rs4.42 crore and profit before depreciation and tax declined by 19 percent to Rs4.09 crore. The company's equity capital was at Rs9.36 crore, share price as on 5 Feb 2007, Rs107 and price earnings ratio, 6.40.
Its 52-week high/low was Rs238/70.
